News – June 2021
It is great to see our manufacturing team develop further in recent months. We have a busy shop, about to get a whole lot busier!
Inspection
Further investment in our inspection processes and team sees Gareth transfer into a dedicated inspection role. Gareth’s skills compliment the rest of the manufacturing team’s diligence and workmanship to make sure everything we do is right first time.
Weld Engineering
David Liptrott joined us as weld engineer 3 months ago – his experience is invaluable as we continue to develop. David has seen pretty much everything we have ever seen and more, his breadth of experience and ability to sort any problems has meant he has been shipped around our business units already and helped not only the manufacturing but our Site Teams and Service Centre team in the Prudhoe factory. To top it off, David is adept at bringing further team members along with him and developing them. His fit has made a significant impact. Recently re-accredited 3834 standards means we are all set up in this area now!
Investment in Wakefield
Our Rail area of the factory is fully operational and recent investment in a cleaning station helps to fully degrease all components prior to painting. We have brought this in-house alongside our own cleaning tanks and paint equipment to ensure quality standards are maintained and we have full services across our two sites. In addition to this, a new curing oven will arrive shortly to help with our plate heat exchanger servicing.
Site Services
Our heat exchanger site service teams, managed from our Prudhoe service centre, have all been treated to new vans. Each is fully kitted out to offer fast response to urgent breakdowns and repairs that are required throughout the UK 24/7.
