Green’s selected for primary Turkish petrochem operation again

Tupras Turkiye is Turkey’s only oil refiner and we have designed and produced several economisers for their important petrochem site in Izmir. Our most recent commission was supply of an H finned extended surface economiser module to Amec Foster Wheeler, the EPC contractor developing this site.

Our solution replaced a longitudinally finned tube for increased performance. This is achieved by doubling the heating surface with our patented H fin economiser technology within the same footprint.

Our proprietary Steel H plate fin technology delivers pairs of parallel steel fins which are resistance welded to the tube surface. It brings a range of benefits including reduced capital and operating costs. And because it increases efficiency and requires less maintenance, boiler downtime and its effect on business performance is kept to a minimum.
