Green’s growth in 2017 leads to new appointments

Green’s has doubled its turnover in the past year with over half of its business now coming from overseas. To support this expansion new roles have been created that will improve Green’s project management, manufacturing efficiency and aftersales services.

David Connolly has joined our contract management team having previously worked in similar roles for other well-established manufacturers including Weir Group and Woodcock & Wilson.

Garry Pagett has been appointed as a supervisor in the factory and brings with him significant experience of metal fabrication and welding. He was formerly at One Subsea, part of the Schlumberger group, where he worked for 11 years as a team leader and chargehand looking after a large team of welders. Prior to that he worked for 17 years at Clayton’s as a welding inspector and technician working on pressure vessels, pipework and structural steelwork.

As a result of the amount of work we are securing in installations and repairs, Eddie McKenna has joined Green’s rapidly growing services team. He is a marine and mechanical engineer and has just spent 3 years working for Harris Pye as a repairs/project manager based from Dubai. Eddie is a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).

While to boost our burgeoning spares supply division, Courteney Pyne has been recruited as the newest member of the spares sales team.

Green’s managing director Matthew Crewe says: “It is a very exciting time for Green’s. New people are joining the team who are bringing innovative ideas and fresh approaches which will help the company to develop even more.”
